Moving from your shop system
You keep the system you run the shop on. Treadstock only stores tires — so bringing your customer list over is one file, once, and then you are done with it.
Save your customers and their vehicles out of your own system as a file, bring the file here, and the columns are matched the way that system names them. It works with your export file: nothing connects to anything, and there is nothing to authorise.
- Moving from TekmetricSave your customers and their vehicles out as a file, bring the file here, and the columns are matched for you.
- Moving from ShopmonkeySave your customer list out as a file — an Excel file is fine — and the columns are matched when you bring it here.
- Moving from ProtractorSave your client list out as a file, bring it here, and the columns are matched the way Protractor files name them.
- Moving from Mitchell 1Save your customers and vehicles out as a file, and the columns are matched the way Mitchell 1 files name them.
On something else?
It still works. Those four have their columns matched for you as a head start, but the import screen reads .csv, .xlsx or .xlsm out of anything, shows you which column it thinks is which with a real value from your own file beside it, and lets you change any of it before a single customer is written. If your system has no export at all, there is a template on that screen to fill in.
